Comedian Tracy Morgan had a medical incident during the New York Knicks’ game against the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden on Monday night, which led to a temporary pause in the game.
Seated courtside, Morgan suddenly began vomiting and appeared to have a nosebleed, prompting immediate medical attention. The game was halted for over ten minutes as arena staff cleaned the affected area, and Morgan was assisted out of the venue in a wheelchair.
Following the incident, the 56-year-old actor shared an update from his hospital bed, revealing that he suffered from food poisoning. In a lighthearted Instagram post, Morgan joked that the Knicks are undefeated when he “throws up on the court,” suggesting he might need to do it again for the playoffs.
Representatives from Madison Square Garden wished Morgan a speedy recovery, and Knicks player Josh Hart extended his support, acknowledging Morgan as a lifelong Knicks fan. Actor Ben Stiller also sent his well wishes to the comedian.
Morgan, who has previously faced significant health challenges, including a kidney transplant in 2010 and a traumatic brain injury from a 2014 car accident, assured fans that he is recovering well.
The Knicks secured a 116-95 victory over the Heat that night.
🚨 Get well soon, Tracy! Stay tuned for more updates.
